FEAR CANNOT LIVE WITH FAITH

Morning Glory...

Psalms 112:7..."He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord"

Look at the heart picture.  Our hearts can be full of so many issues.  We all have experienced circumstances that tear at our heart and trying to fill us with "fear" about our future, our family, our health, world events, etc.

David gives us the way to stand strong even when "bad news" tries to enter our lives.  He said that the person who has resolved to trust in the Lord will not live in a state of fear.

When you fill your heart with trust based on the knowledge of God's Word, that trust will insulate your soul (mind, will and emotions) against be overcome with fear.

It is like an invisible shield that stands between you and the attack of the evil one to capture your heart with fear.  Oh, you may "feel" the fear that comes with the bad news.  But, you don't have to let that fear IN to build a root in your life that will continually produce the fruit of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, dismay, anger, frustration, etc.

Let us look at several scriptures to build this precious hedge around your heart today:

Hebrews 13:6 ESV /
So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

Joshua 1:5 ESV /

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.

Psalm 55:22 ESV /

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Romans 8:28 ESV

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

2 Timothy 1:7 ESV

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Hebrews 4:16 ESV

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Being NOT requires that you BE something else.
In other words...if you take the above scriptures and CLAIM each one for your life...then you BECOME more trusting in God.  Fear will have to leave you.  Fear cannot stay in the atmosphere  of faith.

Each one of these blessed scriptures is an open door to God.  Walk through these doors today.  Whatever it is that is precious to you is precious to God.  You are precious to God.

Refuse to fear.  Say that out loud.."I REFUSE to fear"
"I REFUSE to carry these burdens!"
"I REFUSE to bow my knee to bad news!"

Then declare from these scriptures WHO GOD is to you...
"He is my Helper, Sustainer, He is with me, He is the Source of all the power I need, He is working in me and for me!!!"

As you fix your heart upon God, your heart will become firm, immovable, and your faith will work for you.  God designed it to work.

Tear that fear root out of your heart!  Throw it away from you!  Refuse to let it back in.  Keep your heart filled with trust today.  God is with you!!

Loving Him and you,
Charlotte
