He Gave His Word!

Morning Glory...

Isaiah 55:11

"So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

Do you realize that this is speaking about Jesus?
It is not referring to just black letters on a white page!
The above scripture is revealing to us the Person that the Father trusted to carry out His will...Jesus Christ.

John 1:1 says..."and the Word WAS God."
John 1:14 says..."the Word was MADE flesh and pitched His tent among us."
Psalms 107:20 says..."and He sent His Word AND healed them."
Revelation 19:13 says..."His Name is the Word of God".

God's Word - the Bible - is God.
Oh, I just read this morning how that Word is sowed into our hearts to produce the blessings of God to us (Mark 4).  We have to see this Word in all of its divine power and authority.

We associate words with people all the time.
The different accents of those in our own country will tell you where that person is raised.  There are personalities attached to the words we hear from others.  If I say "ya'll", well, most would
believe I was from the southern region of the United States.  And with that association tags along all kinds of comparisons, i.e., slow talking, big hair, barbecue, etc.  And then, from that, an opinion would be formed just based on what you "heard".

Our opinion of God must be based on what we "hear" from His Word.  He sent His Word (Jesus) to reveal Who the Father was in nature, character, works, power, glory, and future revelation.  Jesus perfectly revealed all that the Father was through His words and deeds.  He even said, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." (John 14:9)

This is why it is more than crucial that  you do not base your knowledge of God upon a personal experience of yourself or others.  He GAVE His Word to teach us all Who He is and what He has and will do.  Our trust has to learn to rest on that and that alone if our faith is going to find the proper atmosphere to work.

I am practicing my faith at this moment for healing.  I heard Brother Kenneth Hagin say..."faith can only exist where the knowledge of God's will is known."  To know God's Will, we must know God's Word.  I can share what that Word has done for me, and that will help point you in the right direction.  But, it is in knowing it yourself...in a deep and intimate and personal way...that you will have that what you desire from God.

He gave His Word.
He won't take it back.
He won't say one thing and do another.
It pleases Him to see His Word fulfill the purpose for which it was sent.
That means it pleases Him to see you and I walk in the blessings of the New Covenant.
Psalms 35:27 says that it pleases God to see His servants prosper!!
Hallelujah!

So, if God GAVE His Word...believe it, receive it, welcome it.
It is sent for a wonderful purpose.
Work thoughtfully at filling your mind with these truths.
Oh, the Word will produce in you and for you.

God GAVE His Word!!

Loving Him and you,
Charlotte

God and His Word are the same.
