Did We Deserve This?

Morning Glory...

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely our sicknesses He hath borne, And our pains -- He hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed Him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
And He is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on Him, And by His bruise there is healing to us.
******************************************************
Did we deserve this?  No.
Did He wait to do this until we deserved it?  No
Did He have to hear how good we are or how many people love us before He provided this? No
Did He have to receive a resume of good works on your behalf before releasing the blessing? No.
Does He have to be informed as to what is going to happen if you don't receive what He provided?  No.

LOOK...at the "is", the "has or hath".  Past tense work.

Do we need to just believe this?  Yes.
Do we need to SEE that He HAS provided our need?  Yes
Do we need to spend time thanking Him that His work is complete? Yes.

Whatever, again I say..."whatever"...the need IS - God HAS!!!
God HAS granted all answers through Christ Jesus.
God HAS a bountiful supply of grace for the one who will access it by faith in His FINISHED work.

Tough to do?  Sometimes.
We have to get past the flesh, the fear, the horrible teachings that tell us that we have to tell God how deserving we are.

We were dead in our trespasses and sins, and yet He died FOR us!
We were HELPLESS...and God sent Help from Heaven...Jesus!
Has He now changed His mind and waits for us to deserve His help? No, no, no!

He is kind.
He is merciful.
He is willing.
He is ready for you and me.
He is loving.
He is more than able.
He is Jehovah (Nissi, Rapha, Tsidkenu, Jireh, M'Kaddesh)

When you became His child...the Treasury Door opened.
Go in by faith.
Use your belief.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving.
Come into His courts with praise.

He is your Father.
He is your Savior.
He is your Healer.
He is your Provider.
He is your Righteousness.
He is your Peace.
He is your Favor.
He is your Friend.

God's unfailing grace and love to you,
Charlotte
